7. Activity Log

Introduction

The Activity Log provides a chronological record of significant actions and events within your LineagePress plugin. It’s a useful tool for monitoring user activity, tracking imports, and reviewing recent system operations.

Accessing the Activity Log

Navigate to LineagePress > Dashboard, then click on the “Activity Log” tab.

Recent Activity

This section displays a list of the most recent actions performed in LineagePress.

Each entry typically includes:

  • Date and Time: When the action occurred.
  • User: The WordPress user who performed the action (or System for automated events).
  • Action: A brief description of what happened (e.g., Person added, GEDCOM imported, Tree created).
  • Icon: A small icon visually representing the activity type (e.g., πŸ‘€ for people, πŸ“₯ for imports, 🌳 for trees).
